Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - South Bend is nestled in a beautiful and peaceful location, providing calm, country feel. We have a very spacious dining area and strive to provide a fine dining atmosphere. Focusing on the details, we use linens, china, fresh flowers for centerpieces and wait staff to enhance your dining experience. Family and guest meals are available, as well as private dining areas for special occasions.

We offer short-term rehabilitative as well as long-term care - a full range of medical, nursing, rehabilitation and social services to treat and support each of our patients and residents. Our center has a large therapy gym, where we provide occupational and speech therapy. We specialize in balance and coordination, ambulation, medically complex care, adaptive equipment, activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, home assessment, safety and education, outpatient therapy and pain management.

Many of our patients go home after a few weeks and, for those who are unable to return home right away, we provide safe, compassionate care in an environment that fosters independence and dignity.
